what do you do id domething you buy is clearly fake?

I have bought a Diesel T-shirt that is very clearly fake, now the woman has sent me some lovely emails and was packaged beautifully with a lovely personalised note. She has great feedback saying people are happy with her t-shirts, so do you think she(and they) are unaware the clothes are fake or what. Can someone be that brazen. It was fairly cheap and I am happy to write it off to experience but don't want to give feedback, cause I can't be bothered with a fight as last time I cpmplained to someone(justifiably) she went off her head.what o you think? sorry if you have got this far

hmmm cheap designer goods I would think she knows and expects you to know too tbh.

do you not want to ask for a refund? you don't have to leave feedback at all if you're not that bothered. could cause others to buy off her unknowingly though.

exactly the same thing happened to me - i deliberated over saying something I just left it and I will never ever buy from them again, wasn't ebay though...I was very close to saying something as I even asked upfront if the item were 100% genuine and they said yes. Oh and they know it's fake, believe me they do.

I suppose you get what you pay for, and if it seemed to cheap to be genuine then don't expect it to be.

Don't leave feedback at all if you're unsure.

She says she gives refunds but I really can't be bothered to be honest. My dilemma is do you think she knows. She seems so nice . I work with clothing so have a very good eye and also most of our wardrobes are Diesel so I am familiar. It is a good fake but fake nevertheless. I can't believe people do this.

I know but I did that once before about a pair of stained jeans and the woman lost it at me. Was a bit scared to be honest I think some people on ebay are unhinged..think I will just leave feedback amd see if she emails me

did she state "100% genuine" or something similar? If so, I would email her and say that you would like a refund, as you expected a genuine item. If not, then I would put it down to experience and caveat emptor.

As a seller on ebay, I would be miffed if someone left feedback with regard to any problems before contacting me first.

yes some people are unhinged, but a lot are not and happy to reply to an email.

she has emailed me today and asked if I got the t-shirt so think i will send her an email politely saying what I think before leaving feedback

someone sold me a designer Leather italian^ handbag...eh actually vinyl with 100% synthetic label

sent a brief email, saying i know she would not want negative feedback and i did not want hassle and got FULL REFUND

i do not do ebay anymore after fake goods - too wary now

so try get refund first, if she refuse leave her neg feedback to warn others

Dh has a similar problem, he bought a Scotland football shirt, it said "item location - N> Ireland". It would only accept cheque, sent to an address in NI. When the item came however it was from Thailand. It looks exactly the same as the Official scotland tops, has all the correct labels etc, but he's not entirely convinced. He's not sure what to do either,

did she claim it was genuine? if so you should tell her. I am sure she knows that. some people are happy to buy fakes, that's were the market is.

if she's not helpful please don't be scared that's what the feedback are there for though. people do look at them to make their judgements.

I had to give a neutral once as item was late, vendore did not rply etc. in the end it works that she was moving house and offered refund (me missed xmas) she was very happy with the neutral.

tbh i would stil leave positive if the experience was that, however i would say that you were unsure the item was genuine.

Tell her before you leave the feedback that that is wjat you will do.

ok have sent her a very polite email asking her if she was selling as fake or genuine so I can leave appropriate feedback. Description doesn't say 100 per cen t genuine on the other hand doesn't say it is a copy. So will see what she says.

I bought a fake suspecting it might be a fake but this was a long time ago before I knew how many fakes there were and how easy it was to find fakes. It was an obvious fake when it arrived and there was feedback on the website from others saying it was a fake. On the one hand, the feedback helps people like me - so you could say 'Lovely service, nice seller but oh dear, it IS a fake...' if you feel very public spirited. On the other hand, now I'm thinking of going back and looking for a fake copy of a thing I REALLY want that is already waiting listed/sold out that I could never afford anyway. I know that's naughty.
