Item not received but Hermes says delivered

What is the situation in cases like this? I've ordered something which I have not received. I raised this with the seller who sent me the tracking number. I've just gone on the Hermes website and tracked it. It says it was delivered to this address at a time when I was at work. There's a signature that they say is mint but it looks like EW which is not anything like my initials. My neighbours don't have it.

So either the Hermes delivery person has faked it, or they have got some random to sign for it and they've nicked it. It cost me £25.

What happens now?

Hermes has caused us nothing but problems. First time using them and never again. Parcel stated collected from us yet it never was. Took several phone calls, waiting for calls to be answered 30 minutes each time. Got told to ring back twice with excuses that they were having problems with online tracking. Very frustrating. Will never use them again

I’ve had an email today saying parcel delivered an hour ago and I’ve never moved from my house. Have not received it. It’s £130+ order and I cannot get in touch with Hermes or the company I bought items with. Furious. Can’t believe Hermes actually do this. How do they stay in business??? Anyone have this issue in the NG17 area?

Hermes are disgraceful my parcel was marked as delivered today and it wasn’t delivered they steal parcels and fake signature stay away from this company

I've never had a problem free delivery with Hermes, they are beyond shite.

Dh ordered me a new iPad and loads of other Christmas presents. He sits on the sofa by the front window overlooking the street and our gate. He had an email to say your package has just been delivered. Fuck off it has. Three blooming days it took to sort out. So someone had a cheap Christmas.

I had this with yodel, said it was delivered even though I rang them as soon as it was delivered as I got an email to say it was posted through my door, yet I had not received it. Went on for weeks in the end it turned out, they had delivered to the wrong address but denied it, the owner of that house CBA bringing it to me, but it could have been miles away to be fair so kindly dropped it in a post box. Post office tried to deliver it to me but there was no postage paid and I wasn’t in so took it back to their depot waiting me to collect it and pay for their postage that I had already paid to Yodel to deliver correctly.

FFS, it was traumatic, all detective work done by me and no admission of guilt from Yodel at any point.

My Hermes drivers are always the same people for months on end. For the last year they have been a lovely husband and wife couple that work really hard and leave all my stuff in the same safe place if I’m not in.

How did you finally get your parcel ?

Hermes are notorious for this. They once delivered a parcel to me when I apparently wasn’t home and left it in a safe place. I got the notification through as I was sitting in my lounge which has bay windows right next to my front door. I’d been there at the time they apparently attempted delivery. I contacted the seller straight away, they sent me a screenshot of the parcel in my “safe place” no idea where it was but wasn’t anywhere near my house. They refunded me straight away. I did send pics to their head office of my property to prove it wasn’t my house but only because I was annoyed with it.

Anyone had an issue with hermes photo taken at the front door apparently not my house £100+ order aswell has to go through missing parcel declaration anyone else had to do this what are usually the next steps

@Jordy227 did you send the parcel, or did you buy it from a company that sent it to you with Hermes? If the latter the, n there’s no point trying to contact Hermes, your contract isn’t with them, it’s with the supplier. Contact them and explain what’s happened.
