eBay shop insertion fees

Are eBay shops charged insertion fees?

I’ve noticed my insertion fees are above the price of the cheapest shop, so I’m wondering if this would be a better option.

Alternatively any advice to reduce insertion fees??

I’m not sure about insertion fees, but I have a feeling you can’t open a shop if you’re not a business account holder (I don’t know if you are or not. But I could be wrong.

Traffic isn’t great on this part of the board, you should post on the eBay page of the money saving expert forums. They are very knowledgeable and helpful.

You pay a flat rate for a shop. I think it's £19.99 then you get 200 buy it now listings per month.

I have a shop as a private seller as I am clearing out literally hundreds of items ( myself / DP /3DC plus household items )
I pay £20 a month for basic shop
It works out cheaper for me but you need to be listing a lot to make it beneficial...
If you only list say 30 items a month then better not to have a shop as your listing fees will be 0.35p x 30 = £10.50 so cheaper just to do individually .

Just roughly work out what you are going to be listing regularly to see its worthwhile
