....can you now weigh the items you're selling, pay the postage via paypal, print out your own postage stamp/label thus avoiding queues at the PO?

I'm sure I had an email about it a while ago but can't find any reference to it on ebay.

Am I losing my marbles?

You can print out the postage label and pay for it via Royal Mail.

don't think you pay via paypal (but could be wrong!) there is a self service thingy on the royal mail website to print out postage etc BUT you still have to queue at the po to get proof of postage!

BettySpaghetti · 09/06/2007 12:17

aaah, of course, I forgot about proof of postage.

Its not worth it then really is it?

Thanks for confirming I'm only partially losing the plot

Oh yes - it is fabtastic !!

So easy - I have just been using the kitchen scales to weigh parcels - then in your "Sold Items" one of the options now is to "Print Postage Label" and you click there - the address and anything is automatically filled in for you, you say how much it weighs and what service you want - pay by Paypal and Bob is your uncle !! It is truly faberoonie !!

And - on the Royal Mail website you can do the same - but can't pay by PayPal - have to use a card !!

Save so much time queuing up etc ! If ou can squeeze it in the post box you don't even have to go in the PO - unless you want them to stamp the proof of posting sheet that also prints out.

Can see it will add to the loss of Post Offices though !

pay by bank card.

Its a lot quicker though - you print out the proof of postage, they just take your parcel and stamp your proof, nothing else needed to be done by them.

I have been risky and posted 40 odd parcels without proof of postings recently - and have had no problems at all ! They were all under £25 though - so I figured I would just refund if anything got lost !

NormaStanleyFletcher · 09/06/2007 12:20

If you don't have proof of postage can you still get a refund?

scatterbrain · 09/06/2007 12:21

No I meant I would refund my buyers if their parcel went missing !
