Petrol costs paid of course.
I have asked a seller this as its a stroller which i am desperate for as my buggy broke Friday! I don't have any transport. I really could do with it by Wednesday as i am without a buggy for my 2.10 yr old and she can't walk all the time.

Item ends in about 20mins and i've had no reply so far. i don't know if i should bid or not. If i bid postage is £10 standard parcels so it will be a few days before it arrives.

14 miles round trip? or per journey.

tbh, if its one u really want, I would bid. Also if I got someone to bring me it I wuold give them a tenner anyway, as petrol does in theory cost alot, and it's their time.

£10 seems fair for postage. if its one you really want.

If it was me I would do it - but it is a little risky to assume if you are 100% reliant on them delivering

LoveMyGirls · 28/05/2007 21:06

Is there anyone who would/ could drive you to pick it up incase you bid and they say no?

tortoise · 28/05/2007 21:07

14 miles ish each way.
Its ok if she can't deliver. i will just have to survive without a buggy for a few days!

I can't go with anyone to pick up as i have 4 dc at home! And i am a single mum. I can't think of anyone who could pick it up for me.

i have graco citisport with footmuff raincover and bag, can get it you for wednesday, inc postage for £26

SlightlyMadSlug · 28/05/2007 21:09

In that case I would probably bid and accept that they have the right to say no - but may in all fairness say yes.

I agree - it's not like to cost £10 in petrol so if you give them the £10 delivery anyway they will make a bit of extra profit.

You also have to bear in mind that although they may be prepared to deliver they may find it difficult to do this before Weds if they are back to work tomorrow.

tortoise · 28/05/2007 21:11

Thanks Misdee but i am going to the beach on the train Wednesday. leaving probably before the post comes.

ah right. i think you are too far for me to deliver it as well.

tortoise · 28/05/2007 21:14

Yeah. i'm in Somerset.
Stroller is only at £5.51 so nice and cheap so far! Its only a cheap stroller anyway! DD2 won't need a buggy much longer and am hoping i can get a part for the m&p 3 wheeler.

lol ok!to far i think.id bid anyway.its very cheap so for that price its worth going without buggy for few days if they do say no.they may be in same situation as you and not able to deliver.hope you get one.

Ceolas · 28/05/2007 21:20

If it's only a very temporary measure, there are some very cheap at Argos

tortoise · 28/05/2007 21:23

Thanks ceolas. I would of got a cheap one if i could get to town on the train tomorrow but i can't.

Won the stroller for £10.49.
Now i just need to wait and see if seller contacts me!

Thanks all.
