I bought a transfer to put on my sons tshirt, a Ben 10 one with his name on,

it cam and looked pretty poor - dodgy print quality and the image seemed 'stretched' - too long iykwim,

nyways i followed the instructions and its AWFUL!!

the image you cannot see, its blotchy, patchy ect

i am definatly going to ask for my money bac for the transfer,

but my question is that i bought a tshirt from ebay especially for th transfer (just plain black no morew than £3)

should i ask her to give me the money for that as the tshirt is ruined,

i have proof the tshirt was bought form ebay and i can take pics of the crap transfer on said tshirt

but should i ask her to refund the tshirt money?

it is ruined because of her crap transfer!

If the transfer fitted the description in the listing then you have little cause for comeback - If however it is clearly not as described then you may have some comeback.

regarding the T-shirt: You have already said that the transfer looked poor and dodgy when it arrived, so that would have been the time to return and ask for a refund. To ruin a T-shirt with it when you were already in doubt is not within the sellers control therefor it is highly unlikely she would pay for the t-shirt.

The seller of the transfer would probably have been more likely to refund if you could return it, but as it has been used the seller could claim that you did not use it correctly.

Good luck tho

no the transfer didnt look dodgy, the image was just a bit stretched, like she had enlargded it a bit

the stetched image has nohing to do with the fact the transfer is crap and you cant see the image properly

Can't advise on the ebay bit, but to be honest, if you're doing it on the cheap anyway why not buy your own transfers for use on your home printer - only works out at £1 a sheet. Then you can use your own design.

i dont have a printer! lol

stretched and enlarged would indicate to me that the transfered quality would be no better.

I'd be careful how you word it when you ask for a refund - any indication that you were in doubt about the quality prior to using it would cancel out any claim for the loss of the t-shirt. But, then again, the seller could still claim that you didn't apply it correctly.

It's a tricky one - you have to somehow state it was a poor transfer without letting on that you knew it was poor before you used it.

a refund without a return is a difficult one
