All my probs from that time we were chatting were sorted out - took a long time but was worth it.
I hope you got everything settled in the end.

he does NOT allow pick ups!

scammer indeed!

Spidermama · 27/03/2007 17:55

Oh dear. I still have a bad feeling about this. Not only dpes he not allow pick ups misdee, but he has also selected the option NOT to allow any email correspondence to be shown on the listing.

It's up to over a hundred quid now but I don't think there's anything we can do is there? After all, he may be compeltely innocent.

I wondered if it would be worth just writing to the purchaser and warning them to be very careful about how they pay because of previous scams.

sixlostmonkeys · 27/03/2007 17:59

I thought of that but it is against ebay rules

3easterbunniesandnomore · 27/03/2007 18:14

The Bidders seem to also be all new new members with 0 feedback, so wonder if they are invented by the person themselfs...i.e. to make it look like a good item and get other people to bid, iykwim...
really does sound all very odd,and the feedback of people with 0feedback and joining around about the smae time....

Sparkly did you hear anyhting of E-bay yet?

clayre · 27/03/2007 19:00

it sold for £106 hope for the buyers its not a scam

SparklyGothKat · 27/03/2007 21:42

Bidder 2 and bidder 3 on the two buggys are the same person I am sure, they have no feedback, and 33% activety with this seller. I hope I am wrong, and the people get their stuff.

PinkTulips · 27/03/2007 21:48

i absolutely love that he accepts 'POST LOADERS'

good on you for reporting it, definitely seems dodgy

3easterbunniesandnomore · 28/03/2007 15:16

what are postloaders?

NutterlyUts · 28/03/2007 15:21

postal orders I think

3easterbunniesandnomore · 28/03/2007 16:02

oh right...never heard them called postloaders, lol

SparklyGothKat · 28/03/2007 16:10

he is selling 2 buggys again, I have a really bad feeling about this.

3easterbunniesandnomore · 28/03/2007 16:17

Sparkly, did E-bay come back to you at all?

SparklyGothKat · 28/03/2007 16:19

I don't know how to report this, sixlostmonkeys did that.

OP posts:
3easterbunniesandnomore · 28/03/2007 16:25

oh right....

wonder if one should amke the last bidding winner aware of the suspicions, hmmmm

SparklyGothKat · 28/03/2007 16:26

thats against ebay rules, and he might be innocent.

OP posts:
SparklyGothKat · 28/03/2007 16:28

if all is ok, i might buy one myself but I will not bid on his items until I know exactly whats going on, though I get the feeling that he will be NARU'ed soon.

OP posts:
clayre · 28/03/2007 19:55

he got more buggies on, maybe genuine

3easterbunniesandnomore · 29/03/2007 11:59

or they could be the very same one, sadly!

sixlostmonkeys · 29/03/2007 15:00

I doubt any of his items exist at all. Give it a few days and the negs will appear - but in the meantime he is collecting money from other people

I only got the auto-response from ebay after reporting this and don't expect I'll hear anything else. Ebay are rather slack when it comes to stuff like this.

overtherainbow · 30/03/2007 01:01

I had a look at the bidding activity on the items he has feedbsck for already. It is the same 4 or so newbie bidders that have bid on them. Strange.....and definitely not right.....you are right to be sceptical

overtherainbow · 30/03/2007 01:30

It has GOT to be a con. I have just looked a bit deeper at the items all the 0 rated people who have bought from this person have been bidding on and if you look at this particular sellers feedback - dereks458 ( i can't do links) - by going into the advanced search, items by seller, last 30 days, all of them have won items from this person too.... I think they the same people. Also all them are buying batteries and pirates of the carribean dvds from each other. Take a closer look into what they have bid on in the last 30 days.....AVOID THEM ALL IS WHAT I THINK!!!

clayre · 30/03/2007 10:35

i got my uncle to look into it (he's addicted to ebay) and he says the same as overtherainbow he thinks its the same person with multiple ids and should be avoided!
