Buyer has requested to return as item doesn't fit

I sold a coat about 3 weeks ago.
The buyer has just opened a case asking to return as its too small for her.
The listing is correct, it's just one of hose things where different brands vary in sizes a bit. (Listing does also say no returns)
I don't want to accept a return, we're going on holiday soon, it's Christmas soon blah blah I don't want to have to eBay it again!
Will I end up having to accept it anyway even though the listing is correct and there is nothing wrong with the item?

Well, I have just been on online chat with ebay who say I am able to decline the request because the buyer has stated that the reason for the request is 'remorse'

Ebay said
Actually, the option to decline appears when the return request is for a remorse reason/out of seller's return policy. In your case, as the buyer is requesting return for remorse reason and out of your return policy, you have the option to decline and this case will be closed.

They also confirmed that the buyer would not be able to open another case.

OP as advised if you are going to refuse the sale, be as polite as possible (and suggest she re sells on eBay using your photos), to try and avoid negative feedback.

Sorry to depress you, Tory but eBay chat/help is notorious for telling people what they want to hear: if your buyer hadn't previously opened a case, which is what I understood from your posts, they can do now, and you will find yourself either refunding on return, if you agree to a return, or refunding in full (taken from your Pp by eBay) and not getting the item back, if eBay step in to resolve. You will get a defect either way, which, if you get enough (not a negative - low star rating) which can lead to you being banned from selling by eBay.

Get the item back, relist it - along with proper measurements eg length, bust, arms etc - and sell it for more: how can a buyer tell from S unless they try it, for one thing?

Finally, consider going to the eBay community (links at the bottom of their pages) and asking for help on this discussion boards there: heaps of experienced sellers giving better advice than eBay automated chat!
