Seller isn't answering about me wanting combined postage.

I won two items from the same seller. It's just baby trousers so will still be 2.80 for both together. They were listed separately and I won both. I messaged the seller on Saturday as soon as the auction ended to ask them to send me a new invoice with the combined postage. I've had nothing back from them and I don't like leaving it this long. I always pay immediately.

What do I do now? Just pay postage twice and ask them refund the 2.80? Or wait a bit longer for them to reply.
It's annoying because they probably could of been sent out today, but it's going to be delayed because I havnt paid.

Wait a bit longer. Is this a personal seller or a business?

their listing did state they will combine postage?

If they don't combine then pay separately and tell them they will have to send in 2 separate parcels.

Well they are a private seller. The description literally said 'good condition' that's it... I thought I'd ask them to combine before I pay but they're not answering me. I'll wait a bit longer, but how long? And then what? Just pay twice?

Thanks for your answers.

If they are a private seller, they should not be too high volume to answer you.

That said, they are not legally obliged to combine postage if they did not say they would in the original listing. It would be a nice gesture, but you still have to pay even if they don't agree.

You can mark them down on unreasonable postage later in your feedback if they post both items in the same package.

if they don't combine p&p then they have to send them in separate parcels.

Even a business seller should always answer messages, despite a high volume of sales. Suggesting otherwise is like saying it's OK for John Lewis not to reply to any customer service queries as they are "too busy".

As someone has said sellers are not obliged to combine postage. I'd wait and see how the items arrive, if together you can ASK the seller to part refund for the postage savings, but again, they are under no obligation.

You are entitled to reflect your opinion in any feedback you leave but some may argue you agreed to pay 2.80 per item for postage, when you bid on each one.

summerwinton no, they don't.

I'll certainly mark them down on communication. I messaged him twice and nothing.
I've paid now, twice.
So I'll see what they come like, but even if they do come in the same package and I ask for a refund I think, after this, he is going to be very unlikely to answer.

It's making me think they're never going to come, like no one is on the other end of you see what I mean.

We'll see.
