Hi everyone, I want to put my Marco double buggy on ebay, but i dont have the original box, where would i get one? Ive never sent anything huge on ebay, so i dont know anything about courier services, do some provide packing at an extra cost, and how much do you think sending a double buggy will cost roughly????
Thanks!

When I bought a Marco off ebay the stamp said £11.65 I think. I think the seller charged £15 IIRC. That was about a year ago.

I've sold a few buggies via Ebay and have never sent them boxed up and I've never had one arrive damaged and/or had a buyer complain about the level of packaging.

I just wrapped the two ends of the folded buggy (the wheels and handles) in bubble wrap (a good few layers) and used 2 black bin bags (one over each end and taped securely where they meet/overlap in the middle) for waterproofing. I then printed off the buyers address on A4 paper in a large, bold font and sellotaped it to the package.

Most courier companies (I used to use Parcel Force but there are cheaper companies around) will charge you by weight of the parcel. It used to cost around £15 for anything up to 13kg on teir 48hr service (iirc), but this was 2/3 years ago now so their charges may have changed. Parcel Force give a tracking number so you can pass that on to your buyer who will then be able to track their parcel themselves. That realy reduces the "Have you sent it yet?" emails.

I also used to put a printed copy of the paypal reciept in the parcel with the item.

I bought a buggy of ebay and it was wrapped in lots of bubble wrap (and I mean lots, about 2 big rolls of the stuff), then wrapped in some thick plastic and it was fine.
