How to sell designer shoes on EBay

I have some lovely genuine Christian Loub heels which are half a size too small and I would like to sell in the hope of funding a pair that fits properly. Is EBay a good place to try and what do I need to make sure I do? I have the original packaging, the receipt and can take some good pics. I'm wanting to put a minimum price on as well. Thank you in advance!

They sell really well. It's the only decent designer shoes ive yet to get a pair of under 200 quid.

There are loads of fakes though sold on there so make sure you put with receipt in the title

start at the minimum you will sell them for, and list to end in the evening. Or do a BIN with best offer. Ensure you send tracked and fully insured. And mention security marks in your listing.

As already mentioned include photos of receipts if you have them and any authenticity certificates etc.

Make sure you take as many photos as you can.... I think ebay allow up to 12? There should be a few close ups and they should all be clear and in a good light. If they have any marks or defects them make sure you take photos of these and mention them in the listing too.

The title is important. Make sure you include "excellent condition" or "new" if that's the case? Also the designer and model, colour and "genuine" "authentic".

It's up to you if you want to do a "buy it now" or an auction.
I always go with the latter @ a 99p start (as I find it encourages bidding) but some people prefer a BIN as an auction Doesn't guarantee a certain price, unless you put on a reserve, but this puts a lot of people off, as does a high starting price. I sometimes find an auction will get more than a fixed price, but sometimes this goes the other way too.
If you do go with the auction then I'd select the 10 day option.
Send them special delivery and insure them for the full cost. It's kind of expensive but worth it.

PS mention "boxed" in the title also.

Maybe try a BIN and if you have no joy after a week or so think about an auction? Look on ebay to see what similar shoes are selling for

Be careful, I did this with a pair of genuine CL shoes. Boxed with receipt from Selfridges.

Buyer claimed fake.

I got my money back Ebay ruled in my favour, but the buyer got a free pair of £400 shoes.

Have a look at other designer selling sites such as vestiairecollective or covetique. The commission is higher but free to list and absolutely no chance of getting hassle or getting ripped off. They vet items before sending on to buyers. People also pay better prices than on ebay. PM me if you want to know more. I have sold on vestiaire successfully before. It is very easy.
