I was the only bidder on a Topshop bag described as "structured leather". I received it today and it's actually PVC. I paid £20 plus £7 postage. What can I do now? Open dispute or contact seller? She said no returns on the listing.

TIA

She's refunded the £27 and said keep the bag as she doesn't want to pay postage. She said whenever she's returned stuff she's always paid postage.

So all's well that ends well and the charity shop will get the bag.

Thanks for your help everyone Smile

You can contact eBay and explain why you don't feel it's fair that you are out of pocket for the return postage for somehing that is the seller's error. They will email you a prepaid postage label to stick on your return package so that it doesn't cost you anything.

That said, sometimes I just send it back myHermes because it's only a few quid and they collect from my door, saving me a walk and long queu at the post office.
