Buyer has bought multiple items, WWYD about postage

So I've only just noticed that a buyer has bought 3 items that finished earlier this evening. The amounts are small but total postage of £6 for £14 worth of goods. They have already paid. I would have combined postage if they'd asked, but they haven't.

Do I just send all the goods in one parcel, or do I offer a refund for some postage? Not sure what to do.....

Combine them and refund whatever portion is due back to the buyer.

I would message them highlighting the fact they have bought three
Items and ask them would they like it combined and if they say yes refund the difference after you have final postage bill

Refund the postage. You're not out of pocket and they will be much more likely to buy again.

Also it's the right thing to do.

If the 3 items individually would fit through a letterbox but the 3 packaged as one parcel wouldn't, give them the choice. They may prefer to pay more for not worrying about parcel delivery.

If not, then no need to consult, of course you should save your customer money by combining to one package and refunding a portion of the fee. It's the only moral thing to do.

I would have sold them with inclusive "free" postage & then only knocked off a small 'multi purchase' discount if I felt appropriate. I don't know why people list postage separately any more. It's a right faff and puts seller under pressure for no good reason.

Since they already paid then you cannot avoid the full 10% of postage as fees, make sure to adjust for that in any refund you offer.

Ok thanks everyone. I will message them now and tell them I will refund part of postage once I've been to the post office later. Thanks for advice re:fees, I hadn't thought of that. The parcel is too bulky to go through letterbox either way, so that's not an issue.
