If you sell shoes/boots how do you package them?
Or..
If you buy shoes/boots how do you expect to receive them (in terms of packaging)?

I have some to sell and I'm reluctant to go and hunt out a box for them, but equally I don't want them to be damaged in transit by putting them in a jiffy when I shouldn't have!

Any experiences or advice would be very welcome. Smile

I would definitely expect to receive adult footwear in a box, maybe just a jiffy bag for small kids' shoes.

any box is good if you have it - if not bubble wrap and jiffy bag/mailing sack is fine.

I recently sold some nearly new caterpillar boots. I didn't have the box. I packaged tightly in lots of bubble wrap and put into a large Jiffy bag.

I've been wandering around the house looking for a shoe box and grumbling to myself about how shoes don't come with shoe boxes any more...
But then I realised I can just pop them in one of the royal mail mailing boxes.

Thank you everyone though!

Take care with your posting costs though when you post in a box as size of the box comes into the price at Post Office, the cheapest way is to send them via My Hermes and the cost will be about £3.90 ? and you get them tracked for that price it will be double that at PO.
When you pack flat shoes wrap them in bubble wrap (if no box) and place side by side in a a$ size plastic posting bag (available for buttons on e-bay 12" x16") about £4.00 for 50 bags. You will them post at PO for about £2.80 if they are kept flat in the package, and the bubble stops any scrapping. Good Luck on selling loads.
