I sold a dress on Sunday afternoon - it was won at auction by someone who has 100% positive feedback as both a buyer and a seller.
Her feedback as a buyer is all of the instant/fast payment type but despite invoicing her as soon as the auction ended I have heard nothing at all. I messaged her late last night - very politely - because it seems odd to me that if feedback is to be believed she has made no contact, but I am beginning to wonder if she bought the dress with a view to selling it on and ended up paying more than she intended because there were a number of other bidders.
I know that I can open an un-paid item case, and I will do so in due course (I am not unreasonable and it may be that she could have a perfectly valid reason for not being able to pay within the 3 days that have now passed) but am I right in thinking that if I do this I can't leave any feedback. This has always been my understanding, but if I am right what is the point of feeding back if you can't say that your experience wasn't as good as others. I know too that buyers can be 'struck off' if they have a certain number of unpaid cases against them but surely there must be some way of warning others in the meantime that things may not be as good as they seem.
