either buyer collects or Royal Mail Special Delivery

and if they collect cash only

Fluffycloudland77 · 23/07/2014 09:40

I think it's going to have to be cash on collection, it's a free voucher they sent me so it has no receipt and no proof I ever had it because it came in normal post.

Thanks everyone.

you don't need a receipt for it if you are selling it. The worry is it going missing and you needing to claim with RM for that loss. Vouchers are the same as cash so won't be covered with normal post. You would need to show the auction page to prove the value as you would claim for what it sold for, not the £100 it may be worth.

Fluffycloudland77 · 23/07/2014 10:19

I hadn't thought of it like that. I've been reading it as the receipts needed for what you paid for it not what it sold for.

what you paid is irrelevant - what you sell it for will be the value if you need to claim for a loss. But as long as you send adequately insured (standard signed for will not be enough) - then you will be covered.

nigerdelta · 23/07/2014 17:37

Standard signed for will be adequate if she sells it for

mindyourown1 · 23/07/2014 17:56

no it won't be because vouchers count as cash and need to be sent special delivery.
