Listed separate items, buyer wants to buy the lot as a bundle, BIN. Can I change listing, should I?

Normally if I had an item (esp if being watched) I would say wait until the listing runs, bid if you like, and so on.

But, I have several items, all listed separately. It's all collection only as mostly bulkier baby things (walkers, trolleys, etc), with some smaller things too that I only expect people to buy if they commit to coming to get something else.

This person has got in touch to ask if she can buy everything (for imminent grandson, lives local, will collect).

In theory, I am happy to do this - at least then everything is gone.

But ... how do I manage this? What price do I ask for?

(Everything is just listed at 99p start price. 7 items = 6.93 but I hoped some things would go for more, like the VTech trolley/walker thing.)

Not sure how best to deal with this;
withdraw everything and sell offline - never done this, can I?
change everything to BIN?
what else?

What I most sellers would do is ask her to come around now and pay cash now, finish listings early (one of the right click options) as soon as she's gone (assuming no bids). Yes it's against Ebay rules. But they can't catch you. I am not very loyal to Ebay right now.

Interesting!

No bids yet on anything so could do that.

Just need to decide on a number, say £20? Cheeky?

Includes:
Vtech walker
Chicco sit in walker
Little tile music arch thing
Fisher price activity/music table
2 x small press buttons animal pop up toys
Handy sitt booster seat

New worth lots more than £20.

You'll work it out once she arrives & inspects, before that get a figure in your head what you would be happy with. Minimum & hopefully realistic prices.
That's lots of stuff, you'll be happy to see back of it!?

ThreadWatcher · 28/07/2013 12:02

Id ask more than £20 tbh

I know nothing of ebay rules or what people pay for stuff though.

What is she offering to pay? Id start with that - afterall she might offermore than you ask for!

JKSLtd · 28/07/2013 12:13

She hasn't offered yet just said she would like to buy it all.

Am coming round to stopping at 3 DC & tbh have tonnes to get rid of but not got the energy or time to get it all on eBay/out of the loft yet!

Hadn't thought of saying come round and then make me an offer. May ask her if she has a total in mind.

What did it all cost new?

JKSLtd · 28/07/2013 12:27

Well I didn't buy it all new tbh.

The vtech trolley was new approx 25 I think.
The others I bought on eBay or we were given.

Have a look at what similar items seem to go for on ebay to get an idea of prices and invite her round to have a look. That way you might be able to get rid of more stuff without listing it which could save you time too. You might have an idea of what you would be happy with and can get rid in a job lot. If you know she definitely wants to come then I would probably finish the items early in case you get a bid which will make it awkward.

JKSLtd · 28/07/2013 17:08

Well I asked if she has a figure in mind but she's come back asking what I'm hoping for as she has a limited budget.
Think ill stick to saying bid on each item and see what happens.

Meanwhile someone else has sent a Freecycle type message telling me to get in contact to arrange collection....erm it's eBay not freecycle, wait for the listing to end like everyone else!

make sure you don't take paypal for collected items btw, cash only.

JKSLtd · 28/07/2013 19:58

Why not? Have done before Confused

because you have no proof of delivery and they can claim not received and claw all their money back from paypal.

JKSLtd · 28/07/2013 21:31

Oh. Oops.
