Am getting fed up with ebay... another problem.

Bought a used purse and the photos were very very good. described as ' very good condition... blah blah... leather has softened overall but still in lovely condition '

However in reality it is very shabby. I think it has been soaking wet at sometime and that has 'softened' destroyed the leather.

Anyway seller (TRS) says they will accept returns and to raise a request return note and I have to pay return postage tracked (which will be £3.20)

is raiseing a request a better process than SNAd and can I still leave feedback.

yes you can still leave feedback and stars

the seller should give you the return costs too if not as described, but there is no way you can enforce this

what does raising a request mean? I haven't heard of that. If you open a case with eBay for a refund they will ask for tracking info to prove the item was returned before you get your money back.

I hadnt heard the term either ,

taken from their reply ...Please would you raise a Request a Return note which you can do by using the pull down menu alongside the transaction in the Purchase History section of your My Ebay. It simplifies the return process from both our sides. Once the return has been agreed, ebay will forward you the return postage details.

to be honest I feel like raising a SNAD as thats what I feel it is !

Sounds like they are trying to say your returning due to a change of mins not a SNAD case, I personally would open a dispute.

Gah, minD

Yay a good result !

Seller has received the item and returned all costs and a small sum to cover the return postage and even offered to deduct £10 from any future purchases I would like to make from her.

i will take that as an acceptance that she agrees it was a little more shabby than was initially described !

what a very decent seller - excellent result :) There are some fab sellers after all

I always think the mark of a seller is how well they deal with it when things go wrong. Mistakes and oversights can happen but your seller has been great
