hi i listed something yesterday with a start price higher than 99p, and i have just had an email to say that there is free listings tomorrow. i have no bids yet so am i able to remove the item and relist tomorrow - saving myslef a whole 15p or would i be better off leaving it as it is (have a few watchers).

ebay really is a minefield, have not used it since the new postage charges crept in, am a bit wary of it now!

TIA

What are the new postage charges? Not heard of that yet

royal mail postage charges i meant - think the price of small packets have increased (along with everything else!)

no if you end the listing now you will still get charged the higher listing charges for that item.

ok thank you, will leave it and be more patient next time!

Ebay generally have a free listing week-end every other week so it's worth waiting for these so you can start listings a little higher. There's usually a message on ebay on the Friday before a free listing week-end.

The new Royal Mail postage prices can be viewed on the royal mail website, but basically all packages up to 750g are now charged at the same rate £2.70 1st class, £2.20 2nd Class.

Isn't it free to list items under £1.00 for auction usually anyway? I don't think I've been charged for my last few auction listings (not even 7p). In which case I guess this weekend is useful if you want a higher start price but otherwise won't make that much difference?
