Can you revise a listing after someone has bid on it?

Short and simple

Thanks

no - the only way is to cancel the bid and then revise it

Thanks fergoose

Selling a pair of kids shoes and i wanted to make sure bidders know they are junior size but have listed them as boys shoes. It should be ok?

If I were you I would cancel bid, amend listing then contact that bidder and tell them what you have done so they can bid again if they wish. Best to be clear about the shoes - just incase you get irritating buyer, prevents hassle later I reckon

I think you can still add to a listing after it has been bid on, just not change the original info. You get a new field to type in and it is shown below the old info. I would add a comment like that, then e-mail current bidder to be sure they are aware of the info.

you can add infor comes up lower down listing no need to cancel bids at all it will come up as " on 21st may at 10pm seller added following infor.... "

once a bid you can't change title or posting costs but can add stuff like international postage etc

You can add a bit into the body of your text as well, if you have missed off a bit of info like size or dimensions or whatever. Just click the blue 'Revise' option to the top (left?) when you look at your ad, that will bring up the form thing you filled up when you were making the ad in the first place; then you can add in the info you forgot before.
What you'll find you can't do is extend the number of days for which your ad will appear. I think it is possible to extend the time when you've ONLY JUST set up the ad, but you certainly can't after a bit of time has elapsed, so you'll find you're stuck with whichever choice you made in the first place.

dotnet - you can't add a bit into the body of the test after you have a bid. When you click to revise it brings up a separate field for you to add info, instead of revising what you already have.
