I posted here a rant about 2 Texan buyers a few days ago. Well, one cancelled her order, which I've done.

The other, managed to enter P&P charges of £1.99 even though I didn't quote any international postage. So I assume she entered the amount ??? I emailed her and explained and she agreed to pay £2.60 P&P. I refunded her payment and then invoiced her the correct amount on Tuesday.

She hasn't paid yet

Monday it will cost me £3.30 due to Bloody Royal Mail to post a small, low profit item.

Not sure what to do now. Postage from Monday is way more than the item is worth. I've sent her a polite email asking for payment, but if she pays after the increase, then what?

oh bugger.

i would e-mail again saying sorry for the inconvenience but the postage charges are going up on monday so she either needs to pay today so you can post it tomorrow, or she can cancel the order, or she can pay the extra

How would she have got the original postage charges on there? As I have already upped it once I'm loath to send her another increase IF this was a genuine mistake.

On the other hand, if she added the postage charges in the hopes of getting me to send it without noticing the P&P then I'd rather cancel it - I personally wouldn't pay the £3.30 (that's without packaging costs) for the item let alone as an addition to the cost of the item. I can't believe she can't get this in America where crafting seems to be common.

OMG I can't believe this. She has just bought another one! But not paid for the first!

hmmm

might be worth using the online chat thing to speak to ebay and ask what they advise?

thisisyesterday · 27/04/2012 13:20

btw you don't have to combine shipping.

so if you charge the new shipping rate (£3.30) for this one, plus what she has already paid for the other one will that cover your costs? assuming she pays

thisisyesterday · 27/04/2012 13:20

or just re-issue the invoice for the combined items with a new delivery charge that will cover them both at the new rate?

MrsZoidberg · 27/04/2012 15:31

She doesn't want 2, she was trying to get the invoice up for the first one she bought and managed to buy another! So I've invoiced her again, explained she has to pay today and said I'll cancel the additional one. I've reinvoiced the first so that I can charge the new amount on the second item if I need to.

If she continues to play silly buggers I'll ring ebay.

It gets worse.

She has paid for one of them and I've posted it. Hurrah !

I emailed her and explained that I would cancel the other one, and could she agree so I could get my fees back.

She read the one from Ebay first and said No! Then she read the one from me!

The message from Ebay to me says I need to complete the transaction, so what do I do? The fees are only 30p so I've written those off, but how do I make it go off of my Awaiting Payment List? And will there be any black mark against me?
