Accepting postal orders as payment

I have only ever taken payments through Paypal as it's easy and safe. Someone has emailed me asking if I would accept a postal order but not really sure what to do! Will I need to change my payment options for her to bid? If it's a faff I would rather just say no. The item she is wanting to bid on is a popular one, already got a few bids and a lot of watchers, so if she didn't bid I wouldn't really be losing out. Any thoughts?

you are perfectly safe accepting a postal order and it is free. buyer just posts it to you once they have won the auction, you cash it and send item. Plus no risk of a chargeback either

And no Paypal fees!!

Ooh yes no fees! So if she bids and wins I can just mark it as payment as received when i get the postal order? I don't need to do anything before she bids?

no you don't need to do anything - just cash postal order before you send the item.
