Have been selling on ebay for ages but only small things. Now am selling a canteen of cutlery that weighs a ton - does anyone have a cheap courier recommendation? Thanks :)

I always use Parcel2Go and have used their HDNL and DHL services with no problem. You do need a printer though for the parcel label

Parcel Monkey has been recommended to me in the past, as have Fastway.

I've found Parcel Monkey the cheapest, invariably with CityLink being the cheapest quote on it. My sister has had issues each time she's sent something using HDNL and Yodel, so I steer clear of them persoally.

I use Parcelforce through 'You sell, we deliver'. They have excellent customer service and are very quick and efficient when booking. Another advantage for me is that the PF depot is about a mile away so I can drop the parcel off at the depot instead of having to wait in all day for it to be collected.

I use parcel2go have sent roughly 50 or more parcels with them they use either yodel or myhermes no problems from my end apart from breaking a couple of vases but couriers don't offically carry china/glass etc so a canteen of cutlery use cheapest courier; for china I tend to stick with royal mail even for heavier items as they perhaps don't drop kick them as much

or collect+ ( only used 3 times once got lost but not their fault buyer gave hone postcode with business address, broke 1 delivered other fine)

I still use parcel2go, I leave stuff on my soorstep they collect and its trackable for about £5.99-£7 depending on weight, just make sure you state its mainland UK only and if from highlands and islands courier willbe extra in fact it may be cheaper by royal mail so would give 2 options courier and royal mail, people know if they live in a remote area so make sure you say so otheriwse you will be out of pocket, it may not be fair to those you live in highlands ( I did myself so I know) but that is just how it is.
roughly £15 for a courier from london to inverness as opposed to about £6 from london to glasgow

parcelforce is quite expensive for heavy parcels
