Hi
I'd be really grateful if somebody could give me a bit of guidance. I am planning on selling on ebay. Signed up to paypal and ebay and have my pile of stuff ready to sell.

I'm unsure how to work out postage and also how to bundle things together.

To start with, I have selected what I have which is BNWT and seems reasonably summery.

I have:

2 x sunhats (gymboree and tu - sainsburys) - 0-3 months

'authentic baby' babygrow (organic cotton hippy thing) - 3-6 months
'next' shorty dungaree and t-shirt outfit - 3-6 months
'faded glory' summer dress and matching knickers - 3-6 months
'gap' summer dress and shrug type cardi - 3-6 months

'bout'chou' dungarees - 3 months
'tape a l'oeil' cardigan - 6 months (these were given together but as they are different sizes don't know if I should call them an outfit)

'next' dress & t-shirt outfit - 6-9 months
'next' shorty dungaree and t-shirt outfit - 6-9 months
'h&m' trousers and top outfit - 6-9 months

'hara juku lovers' (think its a designer brand) tracksuit - 9-12 months

'mini mode' (boots) growbag - 0-6 months

Sorry, I know this is long. Any thoughts on what I should list together, or should I list them separately with a start price of 99p and just see where we go?

Thank you so much for anybody who takes the time to read this and anybody who has any guidance to share!

I have no experience selling baby clothes, so really just bumping for you in the hope that a more knowledgeable sort will come along.

I did do a quick completed listings search and it seems that bundles of outfits are more likely to sell, albeit at a bargain price.

Hmm thank you Nesta
I have loads of stuff so could easily bung in some used (but still in excellent condition) stuff to make a bigger bundle, I just thought maybe it was best to put the BNWT stuff together, and then worry about the other stuff later.

I don't imagine I'll get a lot of money at all for this, but it is just cluttering up my garage and at the moment every little extra helps.

I think that what you've suggested sounds great. Def. keep the BNWT together as you won't want to diminish their value bundling them with used items.

If you're selling lots of bits it can be useful to buy some of those polythene mailing buys to cut down on postage costs. You can get them on e-bay for a few pounds and I've found that they come in very handy.

Best of luck!

I'm planning to start selling baby clothes (and children's books) too - sold a few at a boot fair yesterday but now impatient to try and shift some more!

I was thinking of doing the designer stuff separately and then little bundles by age/sex of the cheaper stuff. I've heard they sell well.

What's the best way of posting clothes though? Do they have to be the padded envelopes?
