Hmm Sounds like the items went for less than they'd hoped for so want the transaction cancelled?

Hi i usually just tell them to send it anyway and ill decide if i want to fix it, then you can decide if there genuine or not, but either way keep the auction in your watching list and you can see in the next few weeks when it gets relisted (they usually do) or look for the same item in the search bar as they could get a friend to relist with the same pictures - had this happen quite a few times!

I was the only one who bid so it was for the minimum price Hmm

Maybe I should ask her to post a photo of the marks...

Yes do, and say you can then decide if you can get the stains out etc

I asked and received the photo.

The stain looked wet, rather than a dry stain, making me think it was water & recent.

I've asked for it to be sent to me. Thanks for all your advice.

I'm amazed that anyone thought of doing this! Maybe I'm overly honest (I doubt that though Grin) but it would never have crossed my mind to do such a thing.
I've sold items, they've gone lower than I've hoped, and I just accept it and pack up the shoes which went for £1.50 and harbour bitter feelings about the bargain the buyer had... But that's life, innit?

Sorry, got a bit philosophical there.
