Argh! How can I edit my listing?

Ebay rules say I should be able to edit or revise a live listing to add information, unless I want to add something to an area that's 'greyed out' on the listing preview, like the start price or the title. Ok, so I'm selling an isofix car seat base and decided once it went live that I'd find out about courier service and add postage details, since I'd listed it as 'collection only'. This would make a massive difference to the interest I'd get - I've watched identical items sell for £50-60 if the seller includes a postage option, wheras items that are collection-only tend to get less than £20!

But I've tried and tried to change postage options in 'edit' and 'revise' listing, and it won't let me. The area isn't greyed out and I don't see what I'm doing wrong. I also can't see how to edit the description to add postage details - the text doesn't change though it's on the Edit page. Angry (my internet connection is v slow at the moment - might this have something to do with it?)

I now have 24 hours to go and one bid og 99p. I can't afford to let it go for that, so I'm going to have to pull the entire listing, which isn't fair on the one bidder. Confused I'm not even sure I'm allowed to do this, but ebay won't let me change postage detail so what can I do?

Anyone know? Confused

I'd cancel the whole thing and start again

Its because you have 24 hours to go and one bid, you can't revise items in that situation. If it were me I would pull it and relist. If you use parcel monkey the courier will only be approx £10. I think £50-£60 is a very high estimate though, be prepared to get less than that.

I've pulled it! Smile Was reluctant to because I already had a bidder, who presumably thought she was going to get a bargain! Also, I wondered if it was a valid reason to end early, and didn't want to get penalised.

I agree I'll be lucky to get £60, but a seach on past sold isofix bases of this type has shown that they really do go for around £50!
