I even contacted her to see whether she would be adding BIT as noticed other items had had bit added. she contacted saying she wanted the listing to run to be fair to all her watchers, it ended tomorrow. She has withdrawn the listing coincidentally after someone else has requested a viewing - shows up on listing. I am so fucked off! I would have bid high on this item so I hope she got got sweet f.a on it, I know you are allowed to withdraw a item if you have made a mistake/it is broken. I believe she has sold it privately which I thought was against ebay rules Angry

There's nothing I can do is there? Sad

Bollocks to it I have reported the seller as I can even work out from her listing who the buyer was.

I sell on ebay and agree that it works in the buyers favour but this is unfair, as the sellers made it soooooo obvious what they have done.

Ebay won't be able to prove it and neither can you, really. I agree that she has probably sold it to the other person outside of Ebay but unless they confess under torture or something, they'll just deny it.

TBH, I have done the same myself with toys etc when I have needed the space. Someone offers to come round and give me a fiver and take it off my hands? And save me the paypal and ebay fee? I would have been stupid not to agree.

The only people doing well out of ebay are ebay themselves, paypal and farking royal mail. I refuse to feel guilty about denying them their cut.

I know but she took a real holier than thou attitude and it was a brand new item.

And tbf when you've done that than no it can't be proved but she's left all the information to be seen, If I can work it out that easily ebay will. Thats whats annoyed me the most that they've made it so obvious.

It's still hers to do with as she pleases. PITA though it is for you. Let it go.

TheMonster · 30/01/2011 16:48

Cor you must have really wanted it! What was it?

Honeydragon · 30/01/2011 17:03

It was a pushchair but yes I really wanted it,and in all honesty was prepared to over a fair price on bit, I can let it go, but as a seller sometimes yes we lose out, and yes ebay are robbing gits, but it really winds me up when people do it so obviously.

I think I am bitter as I had a buyer who kept giving me excuses for late payment and then through random chance I found she had listed individually the items she had bought from me in a bundle separately using my images under her business reg. I wouldn't have minder had she paid me! In the end I had to file non payment of item as it got to 10 days but again their was nothing else I could do! She claimed paypal issues.

Feckin ebay!

She was selling them before she even had them??!!! Madness. Ebay can be very frustrating at times.

Honeydragon · 30/01/2011 17:24
