I would leave negative feedback, definately stating described as in good condition, came with free maggot and grime

If you can clean it up to the standard you would want your child in it and you still think yo uhave a bargain then keep it.

But jeeeesus £210 for dirt and a maggot is awful.

Remember you pay return postage, has to be trackable. If you want to open a dispute do it via eBay takes longer but you may win a no fault refund so you keep the buggy and get your money back.

BangingNoise · 02/11/2010 18:25

I would do what classydiva suggests and go for a refund and keep the buggy if you want it. Personally, I wouldn't want to keep it.

classydiva · 02/11/2010 18:43

I thnk you should go for a full refund, as they have not looked after it externally you are not going to be aware of any structural damage that it may have.

For £210 you can buy brand new.

maxybrown · 02/11/2010 18:48

Just ensure the return postage is fully covered!! What a bloody nightmare.

Unless you can clean it up and get your money back?

SkyeplusArlo · 02/11/2010 18:54

umm,it probably sound worse than it is,its clean apart from in the cracks, theyd put in storage for 9 months, and had apparently cleaned it before posting, its fine now ive disinfected it,but a courtesy part refund would have been nice,i just cant bring myself to open a dispute,it feels harsh, and i dont really have the energy at the moment,dc2 is only 8 weeks...im to tired to argue Confused

Classy, why would you get a full refund and keep the item?

classydiva · 03/11/2010 17:24

Because eBay do no fault refunds. They say that neither the buyer or seller is at fault and give a full refund to the buyer with no need to return the item, and the seller does not pay for the item. They been doing it on a few cases now for months, since eBay resolution came about.

Sparklers0nMyHead · 03/11/2010 18:04

Even easier for sammers then.

classydiva · 03/11/2010 18:23

Not all buyes are scammers, some sellers are scammers, eBay thinks the buyer is always right. That ain't always the case but the seller has to bend over touch their toes and take it whilst the buyer in some cases rams the broom handle as far as they can!

Thems the breaks on eBay unfortunately. If you don't wanna be scammed always send signed for unless you can afford to lose the money.

And only sell something with a perfect description of how it really is.

Sparklers0nMyHead · 03/11/2010 18:28

Great for buyers though isn't it. The can dispute it and get their money back.

Very rare I sell on ebay now.

classydiva · 03/11/2010 18:32

I sell when I got something I no longer use, considering becoming a business and selling a specific line, but I'd have to get some vasalene for the buyers first! :)

ewwwwwwwwwwh

Dettol Mould & Mildew remover will deal with mould on the hood - test on an inconspicuous area first but it's never damaged any pushchair fabrics I've used it on before.

I'd push for a bigger refund - a new Bee hood is going to cost around £25 if you can't remove the mould.

I hate ebay for these exact reasons.
