Quickie about buyer collects

Hi there, I'm sure somebody will have some advice.....I've had an email from a buyer who is asking whether they can collect an item in person (subject to winning the auction - it's not a high-value item, just baby clothes). Now, I'd prefer to post out the item (so I don't have to be in and also because 'anybody' could turn up!) so is there an acceptable way to respond to this query?

Or should I just accept that somebody would like to come round and collect?

WWYD???

Thanks.

Just tell them that it's more convenient for you to post and good luck bidding. No-one will take offence - honest Smile

I always say - unfortunately I am not in a position to offer collection as an option.

OK sounds as though saying no is acceptable, thanks for your replies!
