Can you answer a couple of Qs re ebaying (novice here!)

I've been up into our loft, and am getting a bit giddy about what we could possibly ebay, so am trying to do a bit of research and hoping you can point me in the right direction on a couple of things:

I have a bundle of quite nice maternity clothes (Bennetton mostly, but also Blooming Marvellous) - what would a reasonable reserve be? Is it ever worth splitting things out?

Evening/occasion dresses (inc one maternity dress) - how much detail to put re the condition (ie dry cleaned - or is this assumed?!) /original price etc? And how much should I look for, if they have only been worn once or twice?

2/3 piece outfits: obviously I have bought them together, but someone may only want the top/bottom half of an outfit...is it worth saying you're open to offers on individual items, or are the outfits better?

Baby clothes: I've seen that eg Gap can get quite good prices...is it better then to bundle all Gap things across age groups, or leave in age groups of mixed labels?

Lastly: am confused re postage - how does the max charge work? If I were selling a bundle of baby clothes (one small vacuum bag full) that would be quite heavy weight-wise. How do I work it out fairly?
Also, I am more than happy to give reduced postage on multiple things, but again, how would you put this in the ad?

TIA for letting me pick your brains!

Search on "maternity bundle", then click "completed items" to see what similar items sold for and what their starting price was.

Put as much information as you can in your listing, including colour, measurements, fabric, whether dry cleaned, or from a smoke-free home etc.

2/3 piece outfits I think will sell better as a set rather than individually. Personally I wouldn't offer them separately.

If selling bundles I would sort by age, rather than by label.

The Royal Mail website has a pricing calculator so you can weigh the bag of items and calculate the price.

To offer combined postage on multiple items go to My eBay. Go to the Account tab, then click Site Preferences (on the left), and then one of the options should be postage and packaging preferences.

Have you tried the eBay Community Discussion boards too?
