What support is there for adults with EDs who aren't underweight?

I am 27, have a BMI of 25 and have been referred to ED outpatient services by my GP. I am in Scotland.

I have a long history of disordered eating, which I won't detail, but suffice it to say I probably meet the criteria for bulimia/binge ED. I used to have a significantly lower BMI, although never clinically underweight.

What are the ED service likely to suggest? CBT?

I’m also in Scotland and have recently had an ED referral and also not underweight, BMI 21.9 but was a bit higher when referred. The appointment came pretty quickly. I went to an initial assessment with a psychologist at an eating disorder clinic. Lasted about an hour. The psychologist was lovely. I was diagnosed with Atypical Anorexia and will be having some sort of psychological therapy, referred to a dietitian and they said they’ll be keeping an eye on my physical health in the meantime while waiting for therapy, but I’m not sure what that entails yet as I haven’t have my first appointment through, I only had my assessment last week. It’s a bit daunting to be honest but I know I need it.
