High protein breakfast shakes

Hello,
DD started Adhd medication recently and has been struggling with appetite all over the place.
She is in the process of being diagnosed with binge eating disorder by camhs so I am wary this could easily go the other way. Her eating is becoming quite erratic after starting the meds.
I am looking to make breakfast as healthy as possible as she isn't eating much of lunch.
She doesn't like eggs in the morning and mostly has cereal and very reluctantly some fruit and natural yoghurt.
Was thinking of adding a small protein shake to her breakfast. We have tried a few from Holland and Barratt which she didn't like because of the smell.
Am looking for suggestions that taste more like frijj but are healthy and have protein.

Thanks.
Xx

I only like the clear whey protein powder and that’s low cal… has she tried the ready made grenade shakes? They’re not cheap but they’re like milkshake. Or the U fit. I think ready made are the way to go if you want decent tasting ones, Lidl do a good selection too that are £1 each.

Hello I'm a 48 year old and am recovering from anorexia , the Dr's prescribe me fresubin protein energy drinks, they taste sweet and can be bought in five flavours. You can buy them in pharmacies and are also available on prescription, one drink is 200mls and has 20grams of protein and 300 calories.
Good luck finding something suitable for your daughter.

Kefir, frozen fruit, collagen powder and ground flaxseed blended into a smoothie. I reckon mine is around 30g of protein daily.

Thanks for the suggestions.
I will look them up.
I do make her a smoothie and pimp it up with flax seeds and nut powders.
Will try kefir and chia

It’s great she’ll drink the protein shakes you make with flaxseed - I’m guessing she’s ok with the ‘bits’? Or do you do something so it’s not bitty? Also where do you get nut powders from? Do these make it bitty? I also have a DD with ADHD and no appetite but she struggles with textures; especially slimy and bitty,

This. It tastes if nothing. Add it to a milk of her choice, throw in whatever she likes the taste of (bananas, any kind of berries, spinach, peanut butter, vanilla flavouring, seeds etc etc) I then add a couple of ice cubes and blend up.

@RachelGreensHair they all seem to be flavoured. Which one is tasteless? Albeit I think my DD would taste something - she can taste a teaspoon of cream but as long as it tastes good I can tell her. She’s keen to build muscle but I’m not sure about protein powders.

Have you looked at purition? They're not as low cal as the others, so I prefer those but they do have 'natural' artificial sweetners in them. Very difficult to find protein stuff that doesnt have sweeteners in them, the manufacturers assume that everyone on higher protein diets wants to also lose weight.

I used to make my dd smoothies with a raw egg in them when she was younger to offset the sugars in the fruit. I used fresh, free range eggs. She won’t eat them anymore. Would you consider that as an option or adding an egg to half a Frijj?
