My DD who has had an ED for 2 years, never had to be hospitalised just v disordered eating and restricting.
She has turned a corner but she has dreadful dips and feels dizzy and blurry vision, she will then eat something and will get the opposite where she feels her heart pumping and everything spikes as she describes it.
her last bloods were ok they are redoing them, it’s affecting her MH. She is trying to eat low GI food to prevent spikes but not working.
Any help and advice really welcome

Could she be having aniexty attacks? I suffer really badly with my sugar levels because of my ED. For example I have to be careful with chocolate and full fat coke (pop). I control my sugar levels with lucozade (full fat lucozade like original and orange. Not zero sugar it’s useless). Lucozade slowly brings your sugar levels up so you don’t get side effects such as shaky or nauseous.

Your welcome and for me before I knew how to control my sugar levels with lucozade (the doctor told me to use lucozade, can’t stress enough though it has to be full sugar). I started to suffer with anxiety because I knew how awful I was going to feel when my sugars dropped such as my heart beating out my chest and feeling violently sick which heighten my anxiety. My anxiety caused my symptoms to be 10x worse. Not as bad since I learned what to do to prevent the drop.
