Eating disorders
Sick of seeing half starved presenters and newsreaders on TV

.. just that really. Is this still a fashion? I just want them to eat a meal! It's not a good look. I know I'm going to get bashed for this. I accept some ppl are naturally very slim but tonight the weather presenter (who must have been in her late 40s) looked so thin she was frail. Or .. are we just getting more used to seeing heavier ppl so that the media types who are painfully thin look a bit unwell? I want women to feel emancipated from the constant pressures to be thin.

I noticed Claudia on Strictly is looking very thin lately. I agree, it's not a good look.

There are bigger women presenters; Alison Hammond, Vanessa Feltz, Oprah to name a few off the top of my head. Women of all shapes and sizes are often in advertising campaigns- Nike, Dove.
Obesity is often normalised these days.
Im very slim and active and find it annoying if people assume I have an eating disorder (I don’t) or make jokes that I must never eat (I do and I’m quite healthy thanks).
not sure why you’ve posted in the Eating disorders topic.
