Teeth after bulimia?
Urglewurgle · 09/09/2017 22:54
Anyone have any experience of getting bad teeth 'fixed' after suffering with bulimia?
Mine are terrible; broken, missing, discolored etc. I'm terrified they'll all need to come out and that it's going to cost £££.
I'm 38 weeks pregnant at the moment so was hoping to try get things done in the next year to cut costs - will this be possible? Should I tell the dentist why they're so bad or will they just know? Will they care? Is there such a thing as a dentist that specialises in care after ED?
Sorry for all the questions!

Try to find an NHS dentist. It might help to tell the dentist about your bulimia. If it turns out that you need a lot of dental work done, you could ask the dentist if they can refer you to a dental hospital.
