Welfare of the Child - going abroad

I can't find the answer via google but I am wondering if there is a way to complete the Welfare of the Child process if you are having IVF abroad? Or if it is something that does not need to be completed for IVF abroad?

I am considering "Going Solo", I have a mental health condition and am currently in treatment; I've been in treatment for quite a while, but I have never been a risk to myself or anyone else. It's a trauma-related illness and everyone involved in my care are satisfied there will be no risk to a child. It has been discussed a lot (as it rightly should be). I've been assured there should be no issue with the Welfare of the Child process and counselling.

I have a good and solid support network around me as well, and am lucky enough to be in a financial position where I can afford to pay for things to make the times that people find harder, more easier.

However, I'm due to go abroad with work for six months, and it's too a country where IVF is offered privately, and where I will be able to access private health care through work. Money is not the issue here, but my work - life balance will be significantly improved in that period as I will be work less than full time with no financial hit.

I'm just confused with how the Welfare of the Child process will work and despite a lot of research, I cannot find the answer.

If you will be having treatment abroad they won't care about whatever the process in the UK is.
At clinics in the UK implications counselling is required (as far as I know compulsory or heavily recommended) if using donors, in other countries they don't bother. Not saying that is good, just highlighting a difference I've encountered and in fact I contacted a UK counsellor and arranged it separately as I think it's important.
Good luck with your treatment.
