Does anyone know what's happening with this?

No sorry I don't. But bump!

NewmummyJ · 27/01/2024 09:58

Bump

TeenLifeMum · 27/01/2024 09:59

They usually don’t decide until June/July and we get it with back pay in the September. Totally bonkers.

jamimmi · 30/01/2024 00:07

It's later this year can't think why!. Pay review bodies not reporting till May / June so.i recon at least September for an offer and pay( and back pay) in maybe November, timed for the next election......

Usually summer the year before though, and then it's usually all confirmed in the winter in time for April.
It's been left very late this year and I still don't think anything is in place.

Was hoping somebody would know more.

TeenLifeMum · 30/01/2024 18:11

They’re usually still arguing about it up to the wire then trusts have to absorb increased staffing costs with no additional government money.

MajesticWhine · 25/04/2024 08:11

Yeah I was wondering about this.

I think the only time we've known before April was the pay rise will be is when they've agreed a 2 or 3 year deal (NHS Scotland). It's more usual to be agreed late - as other posters have said. Suspect that this year's increase in Scotland will be v low because gov will argue that the reduction in hours to 37 has already meant an small increase in hourly rate....

Flossieskeeper · 25/04/2024 08:17

According to recent rcn bulletin the prb hasn’t even met to start discussing pay rise. A big fat nada is happening at the moment.

TruthorDie · 25/04/2024 08:18

I have heard nothing. It’s a joke state of affairs as it’s never sorted by now. With the ejection isn’t just going to kicked down the road even further

wednesdayaffairnc · 02/05/2024 15:46

@TruthorDie best typo ever😂

Still no news. I wonder when we will hear?

TruthorDie · 02/05/2024 16:07

@wednesdayaffairnc it most definitely is 🤣. I think l saw 3.5% bandied around in an article the other day

nailnc · 23/07/2024 08:00

Ok I want to know everyone's guesses...

I'm going with 3.5%

I'm absolutely desperate!

Sunshineandrainbow · 23/07/2024 08:09

What does some NHS workers mean? Is it certain bands?

gingercat02 · 23/07/2024 08:28

I saw something the other day that the PRB has recommended 5.5% (haven't RTFT, so apologies if that's already been said)
Big test for a new Labour government. They are starting talks with the junior docs today.
I think we will get 3% but with a one off up lift to sweeten the pill.

gingercat02 · 23/07/2024 08:34

Oh just read the BBC article, some NHS staff just means not everyone is covered by the PRB or agenda for change. All medical staff, dentists and most managers aren't AFC staff.

Motnight · 29/07/2024 13:44

Looks like the junior doctors have been offered 22%. I wonder if this is a good or bad sign for those of us on AFC contacts?

sadnc · 29/07/2024 17:52

We have our 5.5%!!!!
