Advice completion Form E questions- valuations?

Divorce application submitted last month. Now need to crack on with Form E

My friend mentioned she didn’t bother listing jewellery as wasn’t worth anything at resale price.

how would you approach this?

our various vehicles and bikes are all 2nd hand so probably not worth much either.

so only the house of real value. Shotguns, some ancient pieces of furniture and the like also not worth much at resale price.

split is not amicable. And he is not permitted to come to the house or speak with me or see the kids without supervision.

so it’s a tricky situation. And I earn more currently. This was not always the case and I expect he has more in pensions than me.

House is the main asset. Huge mortgage. Not much equity. In face we rolled all debts into it recently. So I’m a bit narked at being left with that as he is not making available as much £££ as he did previously. despite now being debt free!!

kids and I will be ok tho. And we are safer than we were.

any tips or recommendations for me as I sit down with this form?

Pensions can be the biggest asset. With the small stuff you will both need to find a way to balance it all out. You should list most of it out with approximate values and identify whether it is a family possession or a personal possession.

Sit down and just put it all down in black and white. I think you only declare things if they’re over a certain amount. For the vehicles, get valuations from webuyanycar and stick them in. I would advise just to be completely open and honest about it all and see where it takes you next. Include any shares or anything like that.
