C100 to force more contact - I did end up going to court

3 months ago I posted asking advice whether I could make my ex see the children a bit more. I filed a C100 and then after posting here realised that I cant force him and the C100 is really for me to make the children available (my mistake as I didn’t realise)

Anyway a court hearing was set and we both attended. Not much really happened, we both put our points across. Now we have to go back in a few weeks time but I’m not sure what to expect? If what you’re saying is correct that I cannot force contact, will the judge then come up with a suggested routine?

Many thanks

Doesn't really matter what is ordered, you will be bound to ensure the DC are available for contact, he still can't be forced to see them.

Huge waste of money and family court time frankly.

We have a set court order that my ex fought for & we went to court for,he wasn't doing his nights as agreed or asked for yet he wanted more time so brought me back to court again & I put across what happened since last order & the judge refused him more time but our order was updated, still makes no difference & we've had that order for 2+ years, only this week he said he doesn't have to get the kids it's not by force & he has other kids so his time is more important than mine

It’s a shame that the judge hasn’t let you know that no matter what the order says, it will not magically make him turn up when the order dictates. maybe they will at the next meeting. Or you could ask them what happens if your ex does not show up for his times … the answer will be nothing can be done, but it seems like you need a judge to confirm this for you.
