How do I divorce my husband

Hi, I'm a stay at home mum with 2children under 10, I'm not currently working aside from raising my children.
My marriage of 10years has become unbearable, my husbands behaviour seems to be escalating.
He seems to enjoy winding me up till I burst and end up looking like the problem then demands apologies completely ignoring what he did to provoke me. I feel he twists things and trys to confuse me. I feel like it's getting worse too and happening more frequently.
I have no idea about divorce or anything like that, I believe our house is on our name but Im not 100%. What do I do?? How do I start this process? What will happen with my children?

See a solicitor and start from there

but it may mean you have to sell the house and return to work full time.

You can do a lot of it yourself online to save money, but i would start by reading up on English divorces (presuming you're in England!) And it would definitely be worth getting some initial advice from a solicitor (some May offer a free or subsidised initial 30 mins). As others have said, you may have to sell the house and it might be wise to start thinking about job ideas

Get some proper legal advice so you know where you stand and where to start. Family Law firm somewhere local. As others have said, you will likely have to sell the house so you get a clean break, and split the equity. You will need to get a job, so start thinking about that, update your CV, etc. Good luck op.

You can check who owns your house on the land registry for £3

Not that it matters if you’re married, it’s a marital asset anyway
