Having a wobble - conditional order

The solicitors emailed this afternoon to ask if I'm happy for them to apply for the conditional order.
I 100% don't love stbexh and need to divorce him but it's made me feel a bit wobbly. I'm sat here looking at our ds thinking that his life is going to change massively. I feel absolutely awful.
There's no purpose to this post. Just need to write it down. 😞

I brought 4 kids up alone one was 1.5 one was 3.5.
Then I had two more children with an 18mth age gap after 10 years the forth child never lived with Dad. They are all young adults, all been to uni all well adjusted and all have good jobs. It is sad but not the devastating life that you are maybe imagining. They are and always have been happy, and have never missed out on a thing. Be strong 💙

I felt wobbly too. XH was awful to me towards the end and no way we could continue, but it’s a big upheaval and life change and it’s natural to feel wobbly. I don’t think many people envisage their marriages ending!
We are two years on from it now and all happier. DD is far less anxious (despite puberty kicking in) being in a calm home environment. It’s okay to feel wobbly even if you know it’s the right thing.
