I have a teacher pension which is worth more than his.
however, he has at least 25 years worth of working ability and has opted not to pay into a pension.
Does that still mean he will get half or entitled to my pension?

legally yes, and presumably you both benefited from the extra earnings he could contribute to household expenses.

He might agree not to put in a claim against your pension. My ex agreed to that.

If married more than 5 years almost all couples breaking up pension share. Unless you could offer him more equity to agree not to put in a claim against your pension.

It will go in the pot for division the split according to many variables

Less so if he wants a quick divorce, since it seems to take TPS a year to come up with relevant figures.

TPS delay is now largely fixed i think. There should not be a long delay
