Pension valuations

I have 4 different small pensions from years ago that I need to get valuations for the consent order. I'm currently gathering the information and trying to work out the best way to contact the companies.

Anyone know if there is an easier way to get this information please ? Thanks

You should get an annual statement from the pension funds which shows a cash equivalent value for your pension. You can use these figures or email the fund and ask for the figures. Contact details will be online.

Thank you @whattodoforthebest2 I am ashamed to say these are over 25 years old and I had lost track of the various company takeovers and house moves 😊

The recent filing for divorce has sharpened my mind & focus as have 10 years to add to pension before I can get my state pension. The statements are all online so I'm going to contact them to get access. I am finding it very difficult to focus with everything else that is going on. Thank you again.

I know it's hard but the pension providers will know how to route your call as it's not an unusual situation to be in.

I was in exactly the same position as you 15 years ago. You can find out the current name of the provider if you know the original name, there are search sites online which find them for you. Then you need to provide your addresses and other proof of ID for them. If there are 4 separate funds, work on them one at a time. Once you have the info for the first the others will follow the same pattern. Try not to get stressed about it. Maybe do one a day until you’ve sorted them out. It’s worth doing tho and when you have the details you can amalgamate them all into one fund by transferring the cash values so they’re in one place. Good luck.

Sorry for the delayed response, life is busy at moment. Thank you for the information and advice, it's much appreciated.

I've managed to contact 3 companies and am concentrating on one pension at a time. Thanks again.
