Financial advice, deed of variance

After a long marriage of 33 years, we separated nearly three years ago. DH has had multiple sclerosis since 1996. (I was his carer until we separated ) He now lives in sheltered accommodation and I am in the marital home.

Shortly after we separated (2½ years ago) I inherited my mum's estate. I had a deed of variance put into place and this was given to our adult children.
I am not working, living off savings ATM
(not well, but not claiming benefits) DH is on disability benefits and has a joint investment bond of about £150k with his mum (96 years old). The question is, I would like to get a divorce, would I have to declare the deed of variance in a divorce? I don't want to claim any of his inheritance bond, but would ideally like to stay in our marital home. (With the intention of downsizing, living off the equity until I get my pension in 6 years)
Hope someone can advise me.

You need to consult a solicitor on this, seek proper legal advice as it could easily get very tricky very quickly.
