Paperwork for house sale

Have posted a lot about my unexpected divorce under another username.

Accepted an offer on "our" house this week and just received to paperwork to send back to the conveyancer.

I'm in very, very minimal contact with stbxh and obviously there are some forms we need to fill out, including details of his correspondence address which I don't think he wants me to have (suspect shacked up with OW). I have grey rocked him from the start and it's kept me somewhat sane.

Any sensible ideas of how to go about this? Contact from his is very triggering for me but obviously it needs to be done!

Send it back to the solicitor with as many details complete as you can and advise that they will have to speak to him separately for his contact details etc?

Yes I could provide his email address and phone number, would they be able to do that?

I have emailed them re my circumstances but not heard back.

In my case, the solicitor send correspondence to one of us and then we forwarded it to the other to complete and return to the solicitor. We didn’t need to contact each other. I would complete your section and then send to your ex to complete theirs - stick a post it note on it asking him to return it. If your solicitor doesn’t get things back, ask them or the estate agent to chase him. Or complete your bit and return tiO solicitor with his contact details attached.

The latter is a good idea, I'll do that on Thursday. I really dislike having any sort of contact with him. Thank you.

It will probably be more efficient because your ex is more likely to respond to them directly.
