The house in in my sole name, but we have joint conduct of sale, as it was the matrimonial home.
My question is, does that give him the right to accept an offer from a purchaser, well below the value, or is it only me that accepts offers? His now going back to court and I have to pay because I didn't accept the offer too.

Joint conduct of sale means it has to be a joint decision - neither can accept an offer without an agreement on doing so. If he takes it to court, you’d have to show that it was well below the valuation eg recent sold prices of similar houses in road/nearby roads, which are in a similar condition to yours, 3 recent estate agent valuations etc. I’m guessing he’s arguing that you are preventing sale by not accepting reasonable offers? You’d just have to show it’s not a reasonable offer.
