STBX refusing to fill in form E

Ex applied for divorce after a 2 year separation. He cheated and moved abroad. He has recently quit his very well paid UK job. He saw 5 yo DD once in 12 months. As part of sorting out finances, he said he'd do me a favour for the sake of our child and "hand over" marital home which has approximately £10k equity. Unfortunately, I can't take over the mortgage so I made him aware. He proposed to put the house up for sale with a fast-selling agency (typically sells within 3 weeks) I objected as this wouldn't allow me enough time to find alternative accommodation. He has now said that he's OK with the bank repossessing the house. He is adamant not to fill in form E and rather be "amicable" and jump to drafting a consent order without disclosing all finances. I've tried to get him to agree to completing form E, things always get heated and he proceeds to shut down the conversation. This time, he said if he has to fill it in, he'd rather go to court. I really don't want to go down this route. And at the same time, I have no clue of his finances. Any idea of how to deal with this?

If he goes to court, he will have to complete Form
E. Of course he has to disclose his finances. Just let him take it to court and self represent. You can settle at any time, at least that way you will
have a court-ordered timeline or everything. He can’t sell the house against your will. Who is paying the mortgage?

Stop trying to get him to be reasonable and go straight to court. The judge will ensure a fair settlement - your ex won't.

Having said that, if there is only 10k equity in the house how much money is there in total?
