Financial settlement and divorce timeline

I am trying to get my head round the financial split and what order things need to be done. Ex-h and I have roughly agreed a financial split. A lot of accounts and assets are still in both names. He basically does nothing unless I keep reminding him, so I need to get a lot of this sorted myself if we're going to get divorced in the next decade (even though he initiated it and has OW). I wondered if anyone could comment on whether I've got the timeline roughly right:

  1. Collect info on all assets and agree how we want to split them.
  2. Agree on child support (one child still at home and about to start 6th form).
  3. Do the preliminary splitting - move/register money/assets so they are no longer in joint names.
  4. Make sure each party is satisfied there has been full financial disclosure.
  5. Apply for conditional order/decree nisi.
  6. Get a solicitor to draft a consent order based on our financial agreement.
  7. Apply for consent order.
  8. Apply for pension splitting order - not sure if this is separate from the consent order?
  9. Apply for final order/decree absolute between 6 weeks and a year after the conditional order. Does everything in the consent order have to have been done first?

Some pensions take longer to value than others? Not sure what type you have, but might be worth sorting out valuations earlier?

We both have private pensions which we're not splitting as they are similar value. Ex also has a public sector pension from a job he did for about 16 years, during which time I was a SAHM then working part time. We've agreed to split that one, and ex has asked for statement and info from his ex employer pension company.
