Form E help!

Trying to fill in form E and there are not enough boxes for all of the assets/bank accounts etc.

I am not bragging as there is precious little in any of them!

I have separate bank accounts for all of the kids in my name, where I have been putting Christmas money etc - but a few hundred pounds in each - and this is their money not mine and a number of other accounts, some have been inactive for years but I can't fit them all on the form E.
Is it possible to expand the number of rows in the table or add a summary sheet?

Same with shares - there are only three lines but I have more than three shares etc

Every time I ask a question of my solicitor I get another bill!
I paid the bill yesterday morning and got another by email in the afternoon. Sad

Are you doing it on a computer as a PDF? There should be a button to click to add more lines. Of you are doing it on paper, then just do an extra sheet for each category. You number the sheet with the same number as the section on the Form E

If you're struggling, try contacting Citizens Advice for help with the form.

There is no button to click to add extra lines on the PDF I have

assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/953463/form-e-eng.pdf

I tried duplicating one of the pages so I would have two boxes to fill in but it has replicated the information on the duplicate page, and if I amend this information......then the original information changes to the amended info.

I am tearing my hair out!

Mine is an older version from 2015. You could add rows on that one. I think you're going to have to ask your solicitor or try to find the older form online somewhere.

@2021Hasgottabebetter if it's a PDF, you won't be able to change the format. Try downloading it in Word (if this is an option)

I think you only have to list assets over £500 or something like that? - If there is precious little in any of them then do you have to declare them?

noideawhatusernametochoose · 27/04/2021 12:15

I just printed (print to pdf) extra sheets of the extra sheets I needed, filled those in and when I had everything together, printed everything out and scanned it all in together.
There is probably an easier way to do that if you have a pdf stitcher of some sort, but that was my low-tech solution!

You have to declare ALL bank accounts in your name and provide 12 months bank statements for them.

Also all shares, ISA's etc but only 3 rows available

Good shout thanks!
I have converted the pdf to word and can add the lines.

is there a need to provide a service to help complete Form E’s? I am a qualified accountant but admit I struggled with my own 5 years ago because of the emotional pressure I was under, but have since prepared them for friends. Would others find this service helpful?

Glad you got your solution, OP.
I just thought I'd add:
I found this film (and website) extremely helpful when filling mine out.
