Could a solicitor still act on your behalf if....

I’m going to court soon and I feel my STBXH has the upper hand, mostly because his new partner is a solicitor.

I feel my solicitor has lost heart with my case and no longer feels I can claim what she originally thought I could.

If she genuinely thinks this, would she continue representing me or would I be passed to someone else?

Ask her tell her what you feel what would your preference be

I'd be thinking: do I trust my solicitor's advice to be right? Do I need a quick second opinion? How do I instill motivation in my solicitor? Do I need to heed their advice and reduce the claim? These aren't questions that can be answered on MN - only you can.

It can be very costly and time consuming to drag out a claim that's too high. They say that often the only winners are the lawyers.
